Scope and site operator

This policy covers MyDocPhoto, its PhotoCheck tool and related guides. The website is an independent project operated by its owner as an individual, not a government agency or representative. It describes the current version: there are no user accounts or paid services.

Photos and data processed by the tool

When you select a photo, PhotoCheck reads the selected file in your browser to check format, dimensions and size, and available EXIF and XMP fields such as camera manufacturer and model, recorded capture, creation and modification dates, software and creator tool. An original may contain personal information; missing fields are not invented.

Previewing, background review, cropping and output preparation take place locally. The application does not send your photo or its extracted metadata to our server, analytics tools or advertising networks, and does not use them to identify you or personalize ads. It reads only the file you select, not your photo library.

Storage, retention and downloads

The photo and results remain in page memory while you work. The application does not use a database or local storage to retain photos across visits. Replacing the photo replaces its results; reloading or closing the page ends the working session. We cannot delete copies you saved on your device.

The final photo is cropped and re-encoded without copying original camera metadata. Keep the original. A check report may contain the filename, metadata, review notes and measurements; review it before sharing. Downloads follow your device and browser settings and remain under your control.

Hosting and visit logs

Visiting the website connects to its hosting provider, which may process IP addresses, browser type, requested pages, request times, security information and errors to deliver and protect the website. These are requests for website pages and assets, not uploads of your photo. Log retention and processing locations depend on the hosting provider’s policies and configuration, and processing may occur outside your country.

Cookies, advertising and analytics

Current status: advertising is not active in this version. Ad placements and an integration module are prepared but disabled; no Google advertising script or ad request is loaded. There is no third-party advertising tracking or analytics. The photo-checking application does not create advertising cookies. The hosting platform may use cookies or session mechanisms for access and security according to its configuration.

If Google advertising is enabled later: we will update this policy to identify active services and partners. Third-party vendors, including Google and its partners, may use cookies to serve ads based on earlier visits to this website or other websites. Advertising services may process cookie identifiers, IP addresses and device and browser information for personalization, measurement and fraud prevention. Your selected photos and their metadata will not be sent to them.

Manage Google ad personalization through My Ad Center and read Google’s advertising data information. Choices for some other vendors are available through AdChoices. These options do not necessarily stop all ads.

When ads are enabled, disclosures, consent and preference controls must be provided where required, including Google’s requirements for visitors in the EEA, UK and Switzerland. Visiting alone will not be treated as consent to personalized ads. Advertising consent controls are not currently active because advertising is not active.

External services and payments

Links to the U.S. Department of State, Google or other providers open independent services with their own policies. We do not automatically send your photo to external tools; their use is subject to their policies.

The website currently collects no card numbers or payment information and processes no purchases or subscriptions. Before adding a paid service, we will disclose the payment provider, information required for billing and orders, its purpose and retention, and related policies before collecting payment.

Children’s photos, security and your choices

A parent or guardian may prepare a child’s photo that they are entitled to process; the same local processing applies. The website is not a children’s social network and does not publish their photos. Use files you own or have appropriate permission to process.

The website is served over HTTPS, but no technical measure guarantees absolute security. Keep your browser updated and avoid shared devices for sensitive files. You can decline to select a photo, close the page or delete your own downloads. We do not sell photos or their metadata or retain them on our server.

Contact and policy updates

No public support channel is currently published on this website. We will add clear operator contact details before launching advertising or paid services; this page does not request photos or identity documents. Providing that channel remains necessary to receive privacy questions and requests for rights available under applicable law.

We may update this policy as services or practices change and revise the review date. Changes to data collection, advertising or payments will be explained before they apply, with consent obtained where required.
